When configuring the system with Sameday ETA / SLA times there are 4 main fields;
- Lead Time (Time in minutes from which ETA's are calculated)
- Drop Time (Time in minutes allowed at each collection or delivery point for estimating journey times.)
- Speed (Journey times are calculated using Here maps, the Speed field allows you to enter a percentage of routing speed, the system will calculate a drive time for a journey but you can specify that your vehicle estimates at a slower rate. So a value of 50% (half speed) will result in a journey taking twice as long.)
- Window (Time in minutes before and after the calculated estimated completion time giving you the SLA window)
Vehicle Settings
The basic fields are configured on each vehicle.
In the example below this vehicle will start with a 30 mins Lead time, 10 mins for each drop, journey time be 10% slower than standard maps journey time, then present a window of 30 mins either side of this time. You can also confirm if the vehicle is a 2 wheel or 4+ wheel vehicle.

Sameday SLAs
In the Control panel > Sameday SLAs you can then drill this down further into
- Areas (This allows you to adjust the lead time from particular post code areas, eg. if your standard lead time is 20 mins, but E1 area is particularly tricky you get to you can offset by 40 mins giving you a total lead time of 60 mins. You can also use a minus figure to increase standard lead time). You can also offset the ETA time for the delivery leg using the Journey offset field, so in the below example deliveries into EC1 will add 10 minutes for a 2 wheel vehicle or 20 minutes for a 4 wheel vehicle.

- Schedule (This allows you to adjust the lead time for particular days and time windows, eg. Monday - Friday 07:00 - 10:00 roads may be busier than other times so you can offset lead time accordingly. You can also use a minus figure to increase standard lead time)

- Groups (This allows you to set different lead time, speed and minimum leg time by account groups. eg. You could have Gold, Silver and Bronze accounts that may have different SLA parameters so you can create these and set them on the account.

Edit details of the accounts section allows you to set the SLA group.
