The UKIMS (United Kingdom Import Management System) number is essential for shipments requiring import/export documentation. This guide explains how to add a UKIMS number to a customer account and how to assign a different UKIMS number to a specific shipment during the booking process.

Adding a UKIMS Number to a Customer Account

By adding a UKIMS number to a customer account, the system will automatically use this number when booking Export jobs with that account. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Accounts section from the main menu.
  2. Click on the account name to open the details.
  3. Enter the valid UKIMS number for the customer.
  4. Click the Save button to store the UKIMS number for future bookings.
Once saved, this UKIMS number will automatically populate when booking shipments under this account.
