Custom charges or a pre-set service charge can be created and added to a contract in the WMS. this document will detail how both custom charges and service charges can be created in the system.

Adding a Charge
To add a charge you need to first if the charge is Generic or a pre-set service charge, select the contract
Generic/Custom Charge
- Applied date - By default, the applied date is set to the day the charge is created. You can adjust this date according to your needs.
- Nominal code - Choose the nominal code that corresponds to whether the charge is taxed or not.
- Reference - Add a reference for the client. This can be an internal or client-specific reference to easily identify the charge.
- Charge - Specify the charge amount. Ensure it is accurate and reflects the intended cost.
- Details - Provide a detailed description of the charge. This will help in understanding the nature of the charge.
Service/Pre-set Charge
scan or enter reference - If you have a QR USB scanner you can scan the QR code and this will update and add the charge, or you can enter the service charge reference and hit enter to add the charge.
Step-By-Step Guide
1. Click on ACCOUNTS.

2. Click on Create Charge.

3. Generic/Custom Charge will be for if you need to create a charge in the system the doesn't exist.

4. Service/Pre-set Charge will be what will be used if you are adding an existing charge.

5. Select the Contract.

6. Add the Quantity that applies to this Charge.
This will multiply the set charge by the qty.

7. Scan or enter the Service Charge Code and hit enter.

8. You will get a Green line Stating that the charge has been added.

9. you can view the Charge, Click on Accounts.

10. Click on Contract Charges
11. Enter the Contract.
12. You will see all charges populate, You can filter with the Search section.
13. Here you can see the created charge and this will appear on the next invoice.
