Getting Started
Welcome to the Navigator Mobile Driver App, designed with efficiency and ease-of-use in mind, our app offers a comprehensive suite of features tailored to meet the needs of drivers. There are various screens and functionalities within the app that allow users to manage and complete work effectively. This guide is designed to assist you in understanding and navigating through the Navigator Mobile Driver App.
Installation
Search and Install: Look for Start by downloading our app your App Store (for iPhone users) or Google Play Store (for Android users), and proceed with the installation.
First Time Logging In
Remote Driver
- If you're a Remote Driver Network (RDN) user, you'll receive an SMS containing your username (usually your mobile number) and a PIN to log in.
Company Driver
- Company drivers operating a designated handset should untick the remote driver network option.
- Enter your Navigator server address, driver code, and password.
Permissions
Upon opening the app for the first time, ensure to grant necessary permissions like Location and camera access.

General Menu Layout
Runsheet Menus
The Runsheet comprises Four tabs: New Jobs, On board, Collections and Tasks. Users are able easily switch between these screens using the navigation bar at the bottom of their device. Each of the four menus gives the user information on the jobs their are receiving from their operators.
New Jobs Screen
Overview
Upon accessing the 'New' tab in the Runsheet interface, drivers are presented with a overview of newly received jobs that await acknowledgment and processing. This screen serves as the initial point of contact for drivers to review and manage incoming tasks efficiently.
Display Information
Job Details - The screen displays a list of newly assigned jobs, each accompanied by essential details such as consignment number, collection or delivery locations, and either the job ETA or Requested times.
Functionality
Late Jobs - Jobs that are considered when the current time is past the jobs ETA time. When this happens the jobs will be highlighted in red to alert the driver.
On Click - Clicking on a job on this menu will open the Job details menu.
On board Screen
Overview
The 'On Board' screen provides drivers with an overview of jobs currently loaded onto their vehicle. This screen serves as a central hub for managing in-progress tasks, ensuring efficient coordination and execution of deliveries and collections.
Display Information
Job Details - The screen displays a list of jobs that are currently onboard the driver's vehicle, along with essential details such as consignment number, delivery locations, and either the job ETA or Requested times.
Functionality
Late Jobs - Jobs that are considered when the current time is past the jobs ETA time. When this happens the jobs will be highlighted in red to alert the driver.
On Click - Clicking on a job on this menu will open the Job details menu.
Collections Screen
Overview
The 'Collections' screen offers drivers a dedicated space to manage and track collections assigned to them. This screen serves as a centralised platform for organising live pickup tasks, ensuring efficient execution of collection activities.
Display Information
Collection details - information of collections assigned to the driver will display providing essential details such as collection job numbers, pickup locations, and either the job ETA or Requested times.
Functionality

Task Screen
Overview
The 'Tasks' screen is to assist the driver to work towards the collection and delivery timeframes provided to the clients at point of booking. Once an address are completed, the address will remove from the task view screen. Tapping the address moves the driver in to the job details menu where they can progress the collection or delivery action.

Job Screens
Job Detail Screen
Overview
The 'Job Details' screen offers drivers a view of specific job information, providing essential details of both collections deliveries. The menu allows drivers to acknowledge, start, view notes, milestones, messages, and history of a job giving them the ability to manage their work.
Key Information
Consignment Information - The job details will display key information regarding the job, including:
- Job number
- Service eg, bike, van
- Pieces
- Weight
Collections and Delivery details - Information of collections and deliveries will display providing essential details such as collection job numbers, pickup locations, and either the job ETA or Requested times. A visual indicator, often in the form of a color-coded bar, denotes the job type. For example, a Green-colored bar signify that the job is a collection and an orange bar denotes a delivery.
Function Buttons
acknowledge & Start - The driver has access to two status update buttons (acknowledge & Start) these buttons allow the driver to alert their operator that they have seen and started a job seamlessly.
View Notes - If any notes are associated with the job, the driver is able to view them using the 'view notes' button. Notes could include important instructions or additional details relevant to the task.
More - The more button allows the driver to view further job information such as milestones, messages, and history of a job.
Completing Work
- - Acknowledge: Acknowledge receipt of the job to stop notification alerts.
- - Start: Once acknowledged, mark yourself as en route to the destination.
- - Click on a job to view its details.
- Collections: Provides detailed collection instructions and allows confirmation of collection.
- Deliveries: Shows delivery details and allows confirmation of job completion.
Collection Address Screen
Overview
The 'Collection Address' screen provides drivers with detailed information and functionalities related to the pickup aspect of their assigned tasks. Users are able to provide their operators with updates such as 'On route' and 'Arrived' directly from this menu.
Key Components
Status Options - The screen offers various status options, such as "On Route," "Arrived," or "Collected," allowing drivers to update the status of their collection progress as they move through each stage of the pickup process.
Job Functions - Drivers can access additional options and functionalities through the menu, which may include features such as editing collection details, capturing images, or providing additional information about the pickup.
Confirmation Options - Upon marking goods as collected, drivers are presented with options to confirm the number of pieces collected and provide details regarding the condition of the collected items. They may also have the option to upload images for documentation purposes.
Functionality
Item Scanning - This function allows drivers to scan the barcodes of items that need checking in. this data is then stored on the job record.
Waiting - This function allows users to input the amount of time they have been waiting for a collection. this can then be authorised by the operator to be added to the job.
Documentation - This feature allows drivers to capture images of collected items or provide additional details about the collection, these will then be added to the job record on Navigator.
Navigate - This feature allows the driver to route directly to the collection address through their devices native software such as Google Maps.
Delivery Address Screen
Overview
The 'Delivery Address' screen in the CN Mobile Driver App provides drivers with comprehensive information and functionalities related to the delivery aspect of their assigned tasks. It serves as a central hub for managing deliveries efficiently.
Key Components
Status Options - The screen offers various status options, such as "On Route," "Arrived," or "Delivered," allowing drivers to update the status of their delivery as they move through each stage of the process.
Job Functions - Drivers can access additional options and functionalities through the menu, which may include features such as editing collection details, capturing images, or providing additional information about the Delivery.

Delivery Menus
Delivery Status Screen
Drivers can enter the print name for the consignment and give the job a delivery status from a list including:
- Aditional Charges
- The driver has confirmed collection
- Consignee not in
- POD received
- The Driver has confirmed delivery
the driver can then select a time of delivery, which defaults to the current time. This feature ensures accurate recording of delivery timestamps.
Signature Capture Screen
Upon completing delivery, drivers have the option to capture the recipient's signature electronically, providing proof of delivery on the job record.
