Use the Trend Graph to review how stock levels for a SKU have changed over time.

The graph provides a quick visual view of inventory movement and can help you identify increases, decreases and general stock-level trends.

Before you start

Make sure:

  • The SKU already exists in Warehouse.
  • Stock activity has been recorded against the SKU.
  • You are viewing the correct contract or depot where required.

View a stock trend

Go to the inventory area and find the SKU you want to review.

Open the available stock options and select View Trend Graph.

Warehouse will display a graph showing how the stock level has changed over time.

Understanding the trend graph

Use the graph to review the movement of inventory over time.

Look for patterns such as:

  • Stock levels gradually increasing.
  • Stock levels reducing over time.
  • Sudden increases following Goods Inwards.
  • Reductions as stock is allocated and dispatched.
  • Periods where the stock level remains unchanged.
Note: The Trend Graph is intended to provide a visual overview of stock activity. Use Manage Inventory when you need to investigate individual inventory records or movements in more detail.

When to use the Trend Graph

The Trend Graph can be useful when you want to:

  • Understand how quickly a SKU is moving through the warehouse.
  • Identify periods of high or low stock.
  • Review the effect of recent Goods Inwards deliveries.
  • Investigate unexpected changes in stock levels.
  • Support stock-planning or replenishment decisions.

What happens next?

Viewing the Trend Graph does not make any changes to inventory.

If the graph highlights something that needs further investigation, use the inventory tools to review the affected stock in more detail.

Next step:
Use Manage inventory to investigate individual stock records, or View current stock levels to review the inventory currently held in Warehouse.
