Before you start
Make sure:
- The order has already been created in Warehouse.
- The order is ready to be prepared for picking.
- If you are sending the pick to an operator, the required scanner is available.
1. Open Order Preparation
Go to Orders → Order Preparation.
The Order Preparation screen shows orders that are available to be prepared
for picking.
2. Find the orders
Use the search options to find the orders you want to prepare.
You can narrow the results using information such as:
- Contract
- Order number
- Carrier Service
Additional filters can also be used to include or exclude particular types
of orders, such as printed orders, bulk orders or orders that are on hold.
If you do not select a specific contract or filter, Warehouse can display
all available orders.
When you have entered the required search criteria, select Find Orders.
3. Select the orders
Select the checkbox beside each order you want to prepare.
To select every order currently visible in the results, select the checkbox
at the top of the list.
Review the selected orders before continuing.
4. Choose the picking documents
Use the document selection options to choose which documents should be
produced for the selected orders.
For a standard picking workflow, this will normally include the Pick Sheet.
Other available documents can be selected where required for your warehouse
process.

5. Select a scanner if required
If the pick will be completed using the Scanner App, select
the scanner assigned to the operator from the scanner dropdown.
When the order is prepared, the pick will also be sent to the selected
scanner.
If you are using printed pick sheets instead, leave the scanner selection
empty.

6. Prepare the orders
Once the orders, documents and scanner options are correct, select Print Selected.
Warehouse will open the print window so that the selected documents can be
printed.
If a scanner was selected, the pick will also be sent to the selected
operator.
Complete the printing process as required.

What happens next?
Once prepared, the orders will normally disappear from the Order Preparation
results.
This happens because previously prepared orders are excluded from the default
results.
The order is now ready to continue through the picking and packing process.
View previously prepared orders
If you need to find an order that has already been prepared:
- Return to Orders → Order Preparation.
- Clear or disable Exclude printed orders.
- Select Find Orders.
Previously prepared orders will now appear in the results.
A print indicator beside the order shows that it has already been prepared.
