Use Failed Orders to review orders that could not be created or processed successfully in Warehouse.

From here you can find failed orders, retry them after the underlying issue has been resolved, or dismiss orders that no longer require action.

Before you start

Before retrying a failed order:

  • Check that the order belongs to the expected contract.
  • Review the available information for the failed order.
  • Correct the issue that caused the order to fail where possible.

1. Open Failed Orders

Go to Orders → Failed Orders.

The Failed Orders screen displays orders that were unsuccessful and require review.

2. Find the failed order

Review the list of failed orders or use the available filters to narrow the results.

You can filter failed orders using information such as:

  • Channel
  • Contract

Use these filters when you are looking for failures relating to a particular customer, integration or source.

Note: If you cannot find the order you are looking for, check the selected filters and broaden the search if required.

3. Review the failed order

Locate the order you want to resolve and review the information shown against it.

Before retrying the order, check that the information available in Warehouse is correct and address the cause of the failure where possible.

Tip: Retrying an order without correcting the original problem may cause the order to fail again.

4. Retry the order

Once the cause of the failure has been addressed, select the required failed order and use Retry.

Warehouse will attempt to process the order again.

Check the Failed Orders list afterwards to confirm whether the retry was successful.

Note: If the order remains in Failed Orders after being retried, review the order again before making another attempt.

5. Dismiss an order

If a failed order no longer needs to be processed, it can be removed from the Failed Orders queue.

Select the required order and use Dismiss.

Warning: Only dismiss a failed order when you are sure it no longer requires action. Dismissing it removes it from the Failed Orders queue rather than retrying it.

What happens next?

The next step depends on how the failed order was handled.

  • If the order was successfully retried, it can continue through the normal Warehouse order workflow.
  • If the order fails again, review the underlying issue before retrying it again.
  • If the order was dismissed, it will no longer require action from the Failed Orders queue.
Next step:
Once an order has been processed successfully, use View and manage orders to find it and continue through the required order workflow.
