Use Order Status History to review the previous statuses an order has moved through during processing.

You can also update the order's current status when a change is required.

Before you start

Make sure:

  • The order has already been created in Warehouse.
  • You have identified the order whose history you want to review.
  • You only change the current status when an update is genuinely required.

1. Open Order Status History

Open the Order Status History tool for the order you want to review.

Warehouse will display the previous status changes recorded against the order.

2. Review the status history

The order's status history is displayed in chronological order, allowing you to see how the order has progressed through the Warehouse workflow.

Review the history when you need to understand:

  • Which statuses the order has previously held.
  • How the order has progressed through processing.
  • Whether the order has reached the expected stage of the workflow.
Note: The status history provides a record of the status changes that have already taken place against the order.

3. Check the current order status

Review the latest status shown against the order.

The current status should reflect the stage the order has reached in the Warehouse process.

If the status is correct, no further action is required.

4. Update the order status

If the order's current status needs to be corrected, use the available status option in Order Status History to select the required status.

Confirm the change and check that the order now shows the correct current status.

Important: Only change an order's status when you are sure the new status accurately reflects its current processing stage.

What happens next?

If you only reviewed the history, no changes are made to the order.

If you updated the current status, the order will now reflect the new status in Warehouse.

Next step:
Return to View and manage orders to continue working with the order or check its current position in the Warehouse workflow.
