Managing Orders involves efficiently handling various tasks related to order management within the system. From viewing order details to initiating returns and generating consignments, the Manage Orders screen provides a centralised platform for users to streamline their order management processes.

Menu Layout

The Manage Orders menu offers a range of tools accessible through right-click functions, streamlining order management tasks and enhancing operational efficiency. These tools provide quick access to essential actions for order handling. Right-click on the desired order to display the tools dropdown and select the appropriate action from the context menu.

Toolbar: The toolbar at the top of the menu allows the operator to select a depot, refresh the menu, open the search filters and open available reports.

Search Filters: These can be used when operators need to find specific orders in the system. Some of the search filters include order type, contract, status and carrier and many more.

Functions: The function buttons allow the user to perform an action for an order. The functions available to operators include:

  • Perform Search allows the operator to search for orders that match the filters set in the top section of the menu.
  • Clear Criteria will remove all of the selected filters in the menu above.
  • Hide Search will temporarily remove the search filter tab from the menu.
  • Download will allow you to download order details in to the the following file types: CSV, XML, EXCEL, and PDF
Right Click Menu: Right click an order to bring up the tools dropdown. These right-click functions provide convenient access to essential order management actions, streamlining your workflow and enhancing efficiency. Simply right-click on the desired order and select the appropriate action from the context menu.

  • View Details Right-click on an order to view its details, including order number, customer information, and items ordered.
  • Create Pick Quickly create a pick for the selected order to prepare it for fulfillment.
  • Create Consignment Generate a consignment for the order, facilitating shipping and tracking.
  • Change Status Modify the status of the order based on its progress in the fulfillment process.
  • Create Return Initiate the return process for the selected order, ensuring smooth handling of returns.
  • Report and Print Access reporting options and print order details for documentation purposes.
