Lot Items

The Lot Items page can be accessed by navigating to Inventory > Lots.

This page allows you to search for products by Lot Number (batch) and add them to your basket for ordering.

The ordering process is similar to the Catalogue screen, but instead of selecting stock by quantity alone, you can choose stock from a specific lot or batch.

This is particularly useful where stock traceability is required or when you need products supplied from a specific production batch.

For each item you can view:

  • Depot / Location – The warehouse where the stock is held.
  • SKU – The product stock code.
  • Name – The product description.
  • Article – The product group or brand.
  • Lot Number – The batch or lot identifier.
  • Pickable – The quantity currently available for picking.
  • On Site – The total quantity held in the warehouse.
  • Reserved – Stock currently allocated to existing orders.
  • Expected – Stock that is due to be received into the warehouse.

Searching for Lot Items

The Search Lots panel allows you to quickly locate products from a specific batch.

You can search using one or more of the following fields:

  • SKU / Part Number
  • Product Name
  • Article
  • Lot Number

Click Search to display matching products.

Adding Items to Your Basket

To add products from a specific lot:

  1. Locate the required product or Lot Number.
  2. Enter the quantity required.
  3. Click the Basket icon next to the item.

The selected quantity from that Lot will be added to your basket.

Repeat this process until all required products have been selected.

Completing Your Order

Once you have added all required products, continue through the ordering process in the same way as placing an order from the Catalogue.

Review your basket, complete the Order Details page, and click Submit Order to send your order to the warehouse.

Tip: If you need products from a specific manufacturing batch/Lot, searching by Lot Number is the quickest way to locate and order the correct stock. This feature is particularly useful for industries where batch traceability is important, such as food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and chemical products.
