SKU Aliases provide a solution for identifying products that may have multiple names when sold through different sales channels, such as Shopify and WooCommerce. This document outlines the process of creating and managing SKU aliases within the system.

To create a new SKU alias, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to SKU Aliases: Access the SKU Aliases section in the system to initiate the creation process.

2. Enter Alias Details: Provide the necessary details for the alias, including:

    Alias Name: Enter the name of the alias that represents the SKU on different sales channels.

   

    SKU: Specify the SKU code associated with the alias.

   

    Description: Optionally, include a description for reference purposes.

3. Save Changes: After entering the required information, save the new SKU alias.

For example, consider the following aliases for the same SKU:

- Car Sticker

- Car Vinyl

- Car Tag

Each of these names represents the same SKU but may be used interchangeably across different sales channels. By creating aliases, you ensure that the product ordered matches the SKU accurately in the warehouse system, regardless of the sales channel used.
