What is Priority Routing?

The Priority Routing feature offers a solution for customising delivery routes, allowing users to manually rearrange the order of addresses. This is beneficial when certain parcels require urgent delivery or prioritisation.

Use Case:
Priority Routing is ideal in situations where specific deliveries need to be expedited. For example, if a parcel has a time-sensitive delivery requirement or a customer requests an earlier delivery, this feature allows the route to be adjusted to prioritise the specific delivery.

How to Use Priority Routing

1. Start by selecting the route you want to edit.

2. In the 'edit' menu activate the 'Manual Override' option. This allows you to make changes to the route order.

3. Use the 'Drag and Drop' feature to rearrange the addresses. You can move the addresses up or down in the list, positioning them based on priority.

As you drag each address, the interface will visually indicate its new position within the list.

4. After finalising the order of the addresses, select 'Calculate Travel Times.' This action prompts the system to recalculate the route considering your new address order, ensuring the route remains optimised

5. Review the newly arranged route to ensure it meets your requirements.
