Welcome to this comprehensive guide on setting up Storage Tariffs in The WMS System. In the following steps, we'll guide you through the process of configuring efficient storage tariffs.

Step-by-Step Guide


1. Go to the WMS System 


2. Click on ACCOUNTS and select Tariffs & charging



3. Click on Create New



4. Set the Tariff Code



5. Set the Tariff Name



6. Select the contract



7. Add the Tariff Start date

Note: The Start date should fall in line with the Contract start date so that billing intervals don't fall off of interval dates.



8. Select the Container type or leave blank to apply to all SKUs

Note: leaving this blank will bill this tariff to all SKUs regardless of what Container they are set to. Setting a container type will only bill the Tariff to a SKU set as that type



9. Select the Storage Tariff Type

Storage (Allocated)
Charges are applied for storage locations allocated to a contract, ensuring transparent billing for the allocation of storage space.
Storage (Actual)
This tariff type involves charges for volumes of SKUs that belong to a contract, reflecting the actual storage space occupied by goods.
Storage (Occupied)
Charges are applied for storage locations occupied by a contract, providing accurate billing for the utilisation of storage facilities.


10. Select the Interval the Tariff will calculate for



11. Select Observation Type

Average - Will Calculate the average stored during the interval

First day - Will Calculates on the amount stored on the first day of the interval

Last Day - Will Calculates on the amount stored on last day of the interval

Maximum - Will calculate he highest amount stored in the interval



12. Save and Close



13. Right click the Tariff



14. Click on Edit Rates



15. Click on Create New



16. Set the Rate count, TAB or Enter to confirm



17. Set the Charge for the rate count, Tab or enter to confirm



18. you can add multiple lines to your rate,



19. Right Click and select quote



20. This will show you what is due to be charged after the interval
