What is a Unit?
Unit = Fixed Size in cm³
Units can be used in your warehouse system to calculate the value of a charge based on the size of a SKU. The size of one unit can be configured in the global settings in your system. This can be used to determined the cost of a charge.

1 Unit = 8cm³
Calculating a volumetric Charge
When a SKU is entered into the system its unit size will be calculated based on its dimensions. This can then be used to calculate charges.
Formula
Charge (£) = Volume (cm³) × Cost per Unit (£/unit)
Using a volume-based unit system for charges provides a more accurate and fair way to assess charges based on the actual size of each SKU, ensuring transparency and efficiency in warehouse operations.
