Route Tools Glossary
The route editor allows you to create and tailor routes to suit your job. There are several tools that can be used to allow you to calculate your optimal route.
Rename Route
The Rename Route tool can be used when editing a route to change the name
View Driver
The View Driver tool allows the user to view the information for the driver assigned to the job
Plot Driver
The Plot Driver tool will show the assigned drivers location on the map with a Driver Pin
Add Additional Address
The Add Additional Address tool allows the user to add more locations to your current route
Delete This Route
The Delete This Route tool allows the user to delete the selected route
Calculate Travel Times
The Calculate Travel Times tool allows the user to calculate accurate PTAs (projected Time of Arrival)
Refresh Map View
The Refresh Map Tool will wipe all of the added items from the map for example Driver Pins
Reverse Route
The Reverse Route tool allows the user to reverse the order of their route
Reset Route
The Reset Route Tool will wipe all of the calculated routes from the map so the routes can be re-calculated
Uncommit Route
The Uncommit Route tool will uncommit the route meaning changes can be made before committing the route to a driver
Back To Upload
The Back To Upload Tool takes the user back to the map menu
Delete Upload
The Delete Upload tool will remove the uploaded route from the menu
Reset Upload
The Reset Upload tool allows the user to reset ant changes made to the upload
Create Route
The Create Route tool can be used to create a route with all of the addresses selected
Suggest Route
The Suggest Route tool can be used to when the user has a large amount of addresses that need to be broken down into multiple routes. The user can select the maximum amount of addresses that will be grouped into each route.
Optimise This Route
The Optimise This Route tool takes all of the addresses in the route and will create a route with the best delivery times
